Marion Wilson died March 4, 2011 at her home in Del Mar, California after a four-year battle with lung cancer. She was a Mayflower descendent, born in Waterville, Maine on February 21, 1949 to Audrey McGee. She had a long and distinguished career as a Registered Nurse, working for Albany Medical Center, Sharp Memorial Hospital, and the California Department of Health Services. Marion was a loving grandmother to five step-grandsons: Tad, Jeremy, Isaac, Liam, and Dominic Wilson. She is survived by her husband Woodrow Wilson, plus her brother Ray McGee of Waterville, Maine, and two sisters Marlene Wilson of Fairfield, Maine, and Brenda Accola of Wrightstown, New Jersey. Marion had a magnetic personality, and leaves a hundred friends. Relatives and friends will miss her deeply.

Services will be held at El Camino Memorial Encinitas Chapel, 340 Melrose Avenue, Encinitas, California. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Monday March 14, 2011. A memorial service will follow at 1 PM. Marion will be buried in her family plot at the Maplewood Cemetery in Fairfield, Maine. Please donate to the American Cancer Society in her name in lieu of flowers.
