Clifford J. Teders , 78, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Avilla, IN, Clifford was a U S Army veteran and worked as a welder with Dana Corp for 41 years, retiring in 1994 and also an umpire for the Fort Wayne Umpire Association for over 20 years. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne Turners, Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 47. Clifford loved playing euchre, was a avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed being an Usher for the University of Notre Dame Football games . Surviving are his wife, Joyce Teders; daughters , Laurie (Greg) Bowers of New Haven and Jane Teders of Fort Wayne; son, Mark (Shelly) Teders of Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren, Kayla and Nathan Bowers, Peyton and Jordynn Teders; sister, Joan Houser of Fort Wayne. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Catherine Teders, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is Sat. 10:30 am, September 8, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Fr. James Kumbakkeel officiating. Calling also at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Friday, September 07, 2012 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 4:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana.
