Dr. Karl passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Dr. Karl was a resident of Chantilly, Virginia at the time of passing.

Dr. Karl graduated from Fairmont High School in 1965 and served his country with distinction in the Marine Corps in Vietnam, where he was awarded a Purple Heart after being wounded on the field of battle.

Burial at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
