Carolyn J. Stough

Carolyn Juanita Hall Stough was born in Geneva County Alabama and attended Malvern Schools. Her parents were Eula Beatrice Hall and Davie Hall. She had one sister, Trudy Earline Hall Shutley. She had one brother, Olan Bates Hall,
still living. She moved to Phenix City, Alabama around 1942 and worked briefly in the cotton mill there. She became a telephone operator for Southern Bell in Columbus Georgia around 1943 and in 1944, married William Norman Stough.
She had 3 daughters, Barbara, Sandra and Janet. She was a loving, caring mother for the remainder of her life and was adored by all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a beautiful singing voice and she was an excellent artist. She will always be remembered with love by all those who knew her.
