Loving Mother, a Bright Shining Light to Family, Friends and All Who Knew Her

Obituary

It is with my heartfelt sadness to tell you that my Mom, Stephenie Marie Pelfini passed away on Thanksgiving, November 24th, 2016. We were with Mom at her bedside when she took her last breath. It was a beautiful experience.

Stephenie was born a proud coal miner's daughter to Stephen and Anna Verosko in Pennsylvania. She was the beloved twin to Stephen Verosko and little sister to Florence Pastrick.

She left home and came to California to start her next life's journey. She married William Pelfini, settled down in Daly City and later made her home in San Mateo. Stephenie was world travelled and active in her community. She was a Faithful Catholic. She lived and loved life with purpose. She brought her own happiness and positive energy to all of you she touched.

She is survived by her son Michael, daughter-in-law Jennifer and brother Stephen. Mom - We Love You and will honor your memory through our life together.
Stephenie "Sis" will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She treasured her time with you. She loved you and wanted you to feel special.

Visitation will be held at 5pm followed by a Rosary at 7:30pm on Thursday, 12/1/16 at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, 12/2/16 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 28th & Hacienda, San Mateo, CA. Interment at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma, CA.

We are requesting that in lieu of flowers, that you consider donating to one of her cherished organizations (see charity selection below).
