Its not clear what you're asking. If you're gnitteg a divorce and you're wondering how your retirement accounts are going to be split up, then yes, your wife might be entitled to some of your retirement accounts or pensions depending how long you've been married and what she has in her name.If you're asking about social security, then your wife will qualify for half of what you qualify for, in addition to your benefits. So, as stated before, if you qualify for $1200 per month, then your wife would get $600 per month in addition to your $1200, so you'd get $1800 per month all together.

That would depend on nuourmes factors how long you've been married, what state you live in, what type of retirement income you're talking about, what retirement funds she has of her own, and many other details that you haven't included in your question. If she has no income, then doesn't your income pay for 100 percent of her living expenses? Are you trying to figure out if you should share what's left after paying all the bills? Or does she want to leave you and take half of your retirement fund with her? Your question is really too vague for us to give you a useful answer.

Charlie's music was always a big part of my musical career playing the Louvin tunes in Honky Tonks and Dance Halls for the audiences' enjoyment.I was fortunate to have sung harmony with Charlie a few years ago at a Benefit for another Musician. He was a caring humanitarian. Charlie may be gone but will never be forgotten by fellow musicians, fans and friends alike. God Bless the Louvin Family.

In a 2003 interview with Kyle Cantrell, Charlie said he wanted to be remembered as "a good neighbor." With the stories I have heard about all the times and ways in which he gave a helping hand, I have no doubt that he accomplished that. Yes, his music and the memories live on...but I'll never stop wishing he was still here with us. My deepest condolences to Betty, his sons, extended family, and friends.

Thanks for all of the good memories I had seeing you & your brother at the Grand Ole Opry as I was growing up!! Will miss all of you which has passed when I move back to Nashville going to the Opry. RIP

My memories go back to when Charlie was working on the Louvin Brothers Music Park in Henegar, Al. My Mother Marchie (Whitmore)Moore and Aileen went to school together, and when Charlie and Betty sat in My Mom and Dad's living room back then he had lots of stories to tell about their childhood. He never forgot where he came from and his roots were strong and steadfast. They visited Mom & Dad when they were out from Nashville. You must know Betty that, "time will never heal the hurt of the loss, it only makes it easier to cope with." Well Charlie if you see Mom up there, tell her I said hello. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Back in 1995 I first discovered Louvin Brothers music when Charie was interviewed on National Public Radio and samples of their high close harmony were played. I thought I was transported to heaven! Since then I've gotten and treasured every recording by the Louvin Brothers and by Charlie I could find. I was privileged to talk with him a couple of times and found him to be humble and gracious. I saw him perform at Midnight Jamboree and and Just Pools in St. Louis. When he sang, he put his whole heart and soul into it. A remarkable voice, a wonderful spirit, and a deep faith. I will miss Charlie, but "the angels rejoiced in heaven last night." May God comfort you, Betty, Sonny, and the rest of the family. Dan

So sorry to hear this. LaRue (mom) just spoke with Sonny on Monday and Charlie was napping on the sofa. Our condolences to the family and many friends of Charlie. We had the pleasure of meeting Charlie several times when we visited his museum inside of Rudi's. Once I was talking with him when he was sitting on the little stage that was in there, and my wife was sitting at the lunch counter, and Charlie said Miss Fran while you're not doing anything, would you hand me that ashtray. Another time we were sitting on the bench outside when Charlie pulled up in the parking lot, and was walking toward us, when he turned around and walked back to his car looking for something, we asked him if anything was wrong, he said he lost his car keys, we helped him look for them for about 10 minutes, and he found them in his pockets. We will miss seeing him.

When my 24 year old son was around 6 or 7 Mr Louvin had the Louvin Brother museum in Bell Buckle. My husband and I were in there and my son got tired so Mr. Louvin asked if he could take Josh to get ice cream at the ice cream parlor around the corner. Of course I said yes. Josh had no idea who Mr Louvin was but when people stopped him to shake his hand Josh knew something was important about him. To this day Josh still tells people about getting ice cream with Mr. Louvin the Grand Ole Opry Star!! Thanks Mr. Louvin for such a special memory for all of us. Rest in Peace Gods precious one.

My heart is broken tonight! Charlie Louvin was my good sweet Friend & Hero! I met Charlie the first time in 1985, backstage at the "Grand Ole Opry". I'd watched him as a small girl and now, was meeting him in person. Since 1986, almost every year, I came to Nashville and would met Charlie at Shoney's, then, he would invite me to follow him to the back-into the "Opry", an graciously taking me in as his 'Guest'. This was Charlie Louvin..helping this small time Country Singer enjoy her dream of being at the "Opry" around the Stars, sharing a part of the his world as a 'Legend'. Charlie was my Friend, whom I respected and was so grateful for his kindness he showed me so many times over, just because he knew how special it was to me. YES, I was Blessed to have known Charlie Louvin, a Great Man with a big Heart and a great Voice. Thanks to Charlie and the great memories of all our visits. Country Music has lost one of the Greatest true Country Legends. He will be missed but NEVER forgot. I'll miss my Friend so much. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Betty, Sonny and all the Louvin Family. May God Bless you....

Charley was truly a great legend. One of my fondest memories is having Charley on the air with me one Friday night for four hours solid. I then rode with him to Junction, Texas, to catch up with Justin Tubb, Johnny Duncan, Johnny Bush and Bill Mack. Spending three hours in his little pickup and soaking up his stories finished off a day that I will never forget. He was a great performer, but most of all a great man.
