My father-in-law is Ramon Blackburn, one of the Blackburn Twins, whom June Allyson danced and sang with in the movie Words and Music. He is still with us and says Ms Allyson was one of the grandest ladies he ever worked with and will miss her vibrant personality.

June Allison was my fathers favorite actress of all time. He always told us this as we were growing up.
