Bullet Bob was my personal hero growing up. I tried to emulate everything he did, he handled everything so well and was so down to earth. He inspired me to reach for something more in life. I wouldn't be where I am today without his thoughtful guidance. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and many friends and wish to let them know I am praying for them.

Growing up in Pensacola as a boy, I absolutely loved Bullet Bob Armstrong. He was and will always be my wrestling hero. Bob once lost a "loser leave town match" and I was heartbroken. But alas, the very next week the Georgia Jawjacker came to town and all was well with me again. (That USMC tattoo gave you away, Bullet!)
As I grew to be a man, I tried to build my own "20 inch guns" but never even came close. Bob, to me you were bigger than life, but still down to earth. Your character was good, loyal, and true and in the ring served as a positive role model for many young fans growing up in the 80s. Thank you, Bob!
You were definitely loved! You will definitely be missed! Maybe someday "I'll see you in Mobile, if you will!" or heaven if I get there.
