As Wes's brother-in-law I was at his wedding to my sister Eva Bessie, spent many happy hours with them both in their homes in the Bay Area and in Missouri, and will, just like his multitude of fans, miss both Wes and the continuation of the marvelous artwork he originated and produced. (The tradition of which is, fortunately, being continued by his equally talented son Jason.) Dan Bessie
