Condolence & Memory Journal

My condolences. I met Mr. Clifford in July, 2019, at Mt. Rushmore. I had a great chat with him, and bought his book, which he graciously autographed. He played a great role in US history. RIP Nick.

I met Mr. Gifford during my only trip to Mt. Rushmore (2006?). He was a wonderful man to talk with and listen to, he had great stories! He will be remembered by me as the wonderful man and stone cutter who was deservedly proud of his work!

I met Mr. Clifford several years ago, it was my first time at Mt. Rushmore. I loved his stories, he was such an amazing man. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Sad to hear of Nick's passing. I met him the gift shop at Mt. Rushmore while I was attending the Sturgis rally. He was very kind and happy to share his stories with anyone who wanted to hear them. It was a true honor to meet him. He signed his book from one Nick to another. Thank you Nick. RIP.

Mr. Clifford helped create one of America's treasures. He later was a wonderful historian on Mount Rushmore and the crew who made it all possible. May you be welcomed into Heaven and may your family find comfort in all the blessings sent their way

I met Nick a few years ago at the gift shop. He was signing his book. He was gracious enough to sign a book, take a picture and talk with me. He seemed like a nan I would gave liked to be friends with.
