Wat and Katie were superior people. They were family friends (Wat and my Dad, Ben, worked together). As I child, I was led to believe they were just special people.
As an adult, I so appreciated their kindness to my mother, Bertha, and sharing their life stories and faith.

May their memory be a blessing to their family.

It has been many years since I have seen and thought about Wat. When I seen his passing I remembered all Wat did and said that left a lifelong impact on me as a young child. He did not know and in many ways neither did I, that his kindness and humility were significant in helping me find and make a better life. He helped many I am sure to become better people through compassion and humility. Thank you for sharing life on so many stages and contributing to my own in positive ways that I could be a better person. You were kind to my father and brought him happiness for many years as a friend and co worker. I am grateful for all you have done. Condolences to all your family and friends. Steve A.

Dear Misaka family: I am so saddened to hear of Wats passing. I worked with Wat for many years at Pentronics and also bowled next to a couple of the leagues he was on. He was a very kind and pleasant person to be around. We used to get into some pretty good conversations about work and bowling.. I will always remember the time we spent together.. I only met your mother a couple of times but she was just as kind and sweet as he was.

Mr. Misaka set a fine record for himself as a basketball player and as a man. His family should be proud that he made such a great name for himself. He was respected as a man because of the godly values that he learned from his parents. Cherish the life he lived knowing that it is safely stored in God's memory.

although I was not a personal friend of Wat, my association with him over the years was a the Ritz Classic and he was a avid supporter of my center for many tournaments and leagues, I remember he was always very cordial and helpful in bringing other Japanese-American bowlers to my center and was able to form many friendships as a result. I wish to thank the family and other of his friends for the time that I knew him and always cherish that time. love to the family from the Hudson's.
