Sending deep condolences to Malissa, Aron's sons, and all who loved him. Aron touched so many lives with his talents and his warm heart and genuine caring spirit toward others. Aside from his brilliant portrayal of Nog, which reached millions of people and will continue to help others ("It's Only a Paper Moon" is one of the best depictions of PTSD on film), Aron also made Star Trek fans feel like friends. I can't remember an August when we haven't seen Aron at the Star Trek convention in Vegas. He shared so much of himself with the fans. We will always remember him.

Was just watching Deep Space Nine and saw the news. It was the episode where Nog was working up the courage to ask for a date. Aron was such a great actor and he played that role so incredibly well. Truly, he will be missed, and always remembered fondly by his fans like me.

I remember fondly watching my favourite 'Trek' Deep Space Nine. Nog was a big part of the show and Aron always brought much to his role, becoming a firm fan favourite.
I am sorry I never got chance to meet you but my husband did and he said you were the most humble, appreciative and kind guy he's had the pleasure to meet, something that made such an impact on him it will stay with him forever.
My deepest condolences and sympathy to Aron's wife, family, Trek family and friends.

Aron was a talented actor and has always treated his fans with great respect. Nog was one of my favorite characters on Deep Space Nine. His acting in "It's Only a Paper Moon" was outstanding. As someone who has suffered from depression, I connected with Nog's doubts and understood the character wanting to escape from the real world. He made me cry with him at the end of that episode. He will be missed greatly. My thoughts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. He is forever in the love and kindness of the Star Trek Universe -- and he will NEVER be forgotten.
