Prayers ~

Posted by A friend   August 08, 2019

My heart goes out to all the victims, survivors and their families.
Mentally and emotionally there is an immediate response and a delayed response, both can be acutely traumatic. I speak as a 9/11 Survivor and a father who has lost two daughters in the last year.
Spiritual wounds require Spiritual Healing. The Five Rivers Drum Circle will be hold a Healing Drum Circle on Sunday at 6p adjacent to the Trolley Stop. We will cast out the malfeasance and fill the atmosphere will love. I can't explain how that works but I encourage those impacted to attend. There is something about drumming that reaches the heart and generates the healing of our souls. Hear me now. Believe me later. People from all over the state and adjacent states are coming to share love with Dayton. Good will is a powerful force.

Sincere comdolences to loved ones in Dayton Ohio. truly a senseless tragedy.

Posted by Anne Desautels - Belleville, ON   August 07, 2019

Here in Corpus Christi, TX, I noticed flags at half mast on Monday while gathering wildflowers for a woman who just lost her loved one. I must admit that the pain I feel daily watching so much tragedy, day after day had caused me to stop looking at all as I feel so helpless. I just looked to find Dayton - read his gf's letter and each victims descriptions. I haven't stopped crying. Next I will read the El Paso story and about the victims because as much as it tortures my soul and breaks my heart, these victims must be recognized. I need to know them and perhaps in some small way, they can live forever through all of us who have to see the individuals - the true humanity - rather than another mass shooting with dry statistics lumping it all into simply a body count of random people. I don't know what i can possibly do in and of myself. I have no answers. Yet because I did look out of curiosity, now i feel i need to know these people that I find I am grieving. May our society soon take a turn back in a direction of peace, love and understanding. And may all people touched by such tragedy find peace and the strength to carry on. I'm so sorry for your loss.
