As a dedicated baseball fan it is so sad to loss a young player like Tyler. Does anyone know if he had relatives from the South Bend Indiana area. Perhaps a grandfather named Jack??

I had the sincere pleasure & honor of meeting both Tyler & Carli at another MLB players Wedding 2 years ago in Nashville. It was just a few weeks before their trip to Bora Bora which they shared they were so looking forward to, & is where they got engaged. They were truly the sweetest most adorable young couple I had ever met. As we sat & chatted, I quickly recognized their immense love & respect which they shared with one another. My heart just breaks for his Wife Carli in this sudden tragic loss. May God Bless & Protect Her, as well as Tylers Mom Debbie & His entire Family. God had bigger plans for this truly talented & highly respected and well loved Young Man, who is now a true Angel in Heavens Field of Dreams. May Tyler Skaggs now Rest In Eternal Peace with our Heavenly Father.

To the Family of Tyler Skaggs
The world is mourning your husband, son and families today with total disbelief of such an unexpected tragedy. I am humbled and greatful to say I watched Tyler pitch on Saturday night. His love, friendship with his baseball colleagues, years of dicipline, sacrifices, hard work on and off the field will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing Tyler with us. May God Bless you all during this difficult time. May He give you strength, peace and comfort to restore your faith in Him.

Its so sad to see Tyler gone at such a young age. My most sincere sympathies to his family! May they find the strength that they need in this difficult time by relying on prayer! Its a powerful tool that many under estimate or do not believe in but it really does work. James 5:15.

To the loving family of Tyler, I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all. Its terribly painful and hurts very much when an unexpected event takes the life of a brave, intelligent, successful, amazing man. May God's love provide you the strength you need now.
