God is a God of all Comfort

Posted by A friend   February 02, 2020

Dear Suzanne and Family,
I just learned of Davids passing and I send my most sincere condolences to you. David was larger than life and spent his life "paying it forward" with a passion for reporting the truth and empowering people who usually did not have an advocate. He was totally authentic and was so dedicated to the truth. His "Fight Back!" stories, columns, books and more all helped millions of people live better and happier lives. As a person, he was so very kind, so humble and just pure good. When he came to Northwestern Univ. to speak at The Day With Northwestern Program circa April 2004, he was fantastic. He met the test of a well-lived life. He left this world a better place than he found it and did so with class, smarts, kindness and a passion for what is right. I will keep David and all of you in my prayers. My God comfort you at this very sad time. Heaven is a Better Place. Ed Corboy, Jr.

My first memory of David was when I lived in Encino,CA during the mid-1960s At about 6AM we had a major earthquake and David was the only newscaster at any TV station in the entire LA area who was on air at the time. He did an outstanding
job until the other anchors arrived. He was and remained the symbol of integrity. With Fight Back he remained a person you could always believe. Today we miss you more than ever. God bless you David Horowitz.

During my SoCal years, I remember watching David on the Los Angeles NBC affiliate KNBC. Our family always enjoyed his informative and empowering segments. David was a real pioneer in the area of consumer advocacy.

Rest in Peace, David, and thank you for helping create more fairness in our world.

To the Horowitz Family:

I was wondering a few weeks ago whatever happened to David. Sadly, I found out today. David had the illness my mother has. I was a regular viewer of his "Fight Back" show and boy, could we use it now. He knew all the right buttons to push and get a remedy.

My condolences to you all.
