I am so proud of Tyler for how he truly lived for what he believed in. He had the maturity to take Jesus at His word and, even in weakness, to look beyond himself and do for others. As a fellow Boilermaker and member of College Park Church, I have been praying for him almost daily since January 15, 2018. But God has done more than I could ask or imagine according to the power (of the Holy Spirit) that worked in him (Ephesians 3:20). May Tylers legacy live on through all the people whom he touched during his journey on earth.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Trent family & his extended family Boilermaker nation. Im a Buckeye fan but Im also a Tyler Trent fan but most important a Jesus fan. I was in row 1 of the end zone on Saturday October 20th, 2018 when the Boilermakers upset my Buckeyes. I was touched by your story & your spirit that was displayed all night. I have no doubt your beloved Boilermakers won that game for you & David Blough played like a All American that night. A loss never felt so good because what is football compared to life. Thanks for your inspiration for teaching football fans everywhere what a true fighter is. If every team had a player with the heart of Tyler Trent I dont think they would lose a game. Heaven gained another angel on January 1st. No pain & youll never be forgotten. God Bless. Brian
