I had the good fortune to spend much time during my high school years getting to personally know Mathilde Krim. She was a selfless lady who spent most of her time working in the pursuit of the fight against Cancer and HIV/Aids. I will always remember her fondly.

If only even 1% of the world's entire population were as caring, selfless, compassionate, empathetic and intelligent as Mathilde was, this would be a tremendously better world in every respect. She was a champion in a thousand ways. A great woman. A great loss. My sincerest condolences to the Krim family.

I was so happy to learn about the works she did to combat the AIDS disease. Her kind efforts and deeds will never be forgotten.
