Mrs. Ramey seemed to be a very well-rounded person. She seemed to be one of good moral standards.

May you find comfort in knowing the God of Tender Mercies cares for her and you as her family and friends.

my cincinnati father told the story that he dated venus ramey. she sent him cookies when he was in the navy. he had photos of her and newspaper clippings of her miss american win that i still have today. we weren't sure of the validity of his story until he died. at his funeral service, a beautiful, mature women with shoulder length red hair, wearing an ankle length fur coat walked up to me and held out her hand and said 'i'm venus ramey, i dated your father years ago!'. a very special moment and memory.

Ms. Ramey was an amazing woman and admired by many. She said what she thought and stood by what she said! She was strong and independent. As a child I looked for her, she was Miss America, after all. As we both grew older, I admired her for who she really was. Eubank has lost one special woman. My thought and prayers to the family. Rest in peace dear lady.
