Posted on Sheryl Sandberg's Facebook Page on March 5, 2015 - Celebrating men who lean in for equality. The man I most want to celebrate is my husband Dave Goldberg. I met Dave over 15 years ago and we immediately became the best of friends. He was the first person to show me the internet, the kind of friend who shows up to help you move apartments (read: bad pre-Dave breakup), and always made me feel like I was home no matter where I was. Years later, we dated, married, and now we have two amazing children. He is a 50/50 partner at home and a dedicated father (although not sure my kids needed to learn poker at ages 4 and 6). He enables my career; insisting that I join Facebook when our daughter was just 6 months old and doing more than his share at home as I ramped up in my new job. I wrote in Lean In that the most important decision a woman makes is if she has a life partner and who that life partner will be. The best decision I ever made was to marry Dave.
