"My sincerest condolences to Vera's children and extended family and friends. It is not often that you have two people in the same household so committed to loving and helping those in need. God bless you all and may He give you peace now and in the coming days. Much love to the Clemente family!"

Mr. Roberto Clemente was a gifted, and talented baseball player, he will also be missed."
"I sadly remember standing in my bedroom when the news came over KDKA radio when the horrible news of Mr. Clemente's plane crash was announced. I will always remember #21 as a true humanitarian first and a star baseball player second. The passing of Mrs. Clemente leaves an imprint in my heart of the true love the Clemente family represents. God Bless!"
