"So sorry for your loss and may God comfort you during this difficult time."

"I wish I could have said "thank you" face-to-face with Ross. We talked briefly on the phone many years ago on my 20th Anniversary with the EDS Corp, but I would have liked to have shook his hand for all he did for me. Ross and I had something in common: we were both the same height, which is to say short. But, to me, he was a giant. I started life late in life and could not afford to go to college, until I was 30. When I graduated from college, I was 35, and it seemed that no company wanted to hire me...except for one company, EDS, that saw potential in this older student. I have been retired now for years. I shudder to think what my life would be like now, were it not for Ross Perot and the company he founded that gave me a chance to prove that I, too, could be an EDS Eagle. Until EDS, I was a total failure in life. That's just the stark, honest truth. But, I joined EDS, and I worked very hard and was rewarded well, just as I was told that I would be. I eventually rose to the rank of EDS Senior Systems Engineer as well as EDS Senior Systems Administrator. I doubt if any member of the Perot family will read this, but if you are "out there" and read this, I want to thank you, too. No man is an island, and those of us who were long-time EDSers knew that he had a strong family behind him. Ross...I owe you so much, it is truly hard for me to fully express it in words. But, I'll see you I heaven, my dear friend. Until then, please know how much your life did good in my life and in the lives of countless others. May God Bless You and all of your Loved Ones forever."
