"There will be many times on the tables where I’m faced with a very tough decision, and being able to recall Mike Sexton’s professional, insightful cometary over the years, has always and will continue to be, a great help, thanks for always being there Mike. Rest In Peace."

"I've watched hundreds and hundreds of WPT with Mike Sexton.. He was such a pleasant individual , a good poker player also great historian of the world of Poker.. somewhere I have a feeling he's playing one-on-one with Stu Ungar

"Mike and I served together from 1971-1972 as "Black Hats" on the administrative staff Headquarters Headquarters Company (HHC) U.S. Army 82nd ABN Div., Schools Detachment. When he ETS'd out I took his senior staff position. He and I were for a very short time roommates as i leased his off post residence after he left. I knew Mike as an outstanding SP5 leader of our office . We often teased him about his ballroom dancing but he sure got us back by skillfully taking our money come payday. LOL. I wish to give my deepest condolences to his family. I SALUTE an outstanding paratrooper of "Esprit de Corps". An honor to have known him. SP5 Wm. C. Jarman"

"My partner and I watched Mike Sexton and Vincent Van Patton for many years as hosts of the WPT, I was shocked to read of his passing, gone too soon. I thank his family for letting us share a part of his time with us as he truly was a very personable and classy person."
