"RIP Bozo. Thanks for the memories."
"I don't know about any of you other 80's children. But I can vividly remember watching Bozo before going to school for his "grand prize game" and the 15 minute mini cartoons of G.I. Joe and Transformers (Circa 1985). This clown was a frigging genius! There is no doubt in my mind that characters such as "Pennywise" from the book/movie "IT"(Stephen King) and even those Psychopathic hatchet wielding clowns ICP owe some homage to the great Bozo. It is a sign of the times, for all of us that grew up in the 80's, that we can't go "home" again.
