Aunt Gert is Aunt Gert to everyone. The most kindest woman ever who always wore a gentle smile, along with the most loveliest hats ever. She will be missed and throngs of family and friends will say their farewells to a woman who's job was well done.

Thank you Aunt Gert for living the life of the Christ you confessed.

Peace to the Plummer / Hawkins family as you continue to carry the dream...

To The Family of Aunt Gert:

I always viewed Aunt Gert as a very warm and loving person. I believe God viewed her life as one that was very pleasing to Him.

May very fond memories of her warm your hearts.

I remember the first time I visited Aunt Gert's home. It was for Memorial Day cookout a few years back. There were people everywhere and a lot going on. As I was leaving Aunt Gert said "you come back any time, the door is always open". It was not just the words she said, but the way she said it that made me know she meant what she said. She absolutely made me feel like family! I'll certainly miss Aunt Gert but will cherish the memories of the time I was in her presence.

What fond memories I have of Cousin Gert Hawkins.. She was my mother's(Eleanor L. Frazier-Gantt) 1st cousin . My memories include the summers at her home
with my brother David that lasted 2-3 weeks. What an experience. We were city kids and felt so anxious about having that time. I even visited Cousin Gert at her job at the Pentagon some days. I grew up to work for Dept. of Defense as well. She was alive and fun. A great wife
